Terms & Conditions
Returns, Refunds and Shipping Policies
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We guarantee your satisfaction at Skagit Coin. We provide all our customers with a refund, return and/or exchange policy on everything we sell including all bullion and certified coins. This right is limited to two (2) days from the date on which the customer receives their items. The refund, return and/or exchange policy only applies to customers who notify our Customer Service Department by telephone at (360) 707-2222 during normal business hours within two (2) days from the date on which the customer receives their item and keeps the item in its original packaging. The Customer Service Department will give you instructions on how to return your items. Refunds for returns are not processed until after the returned item(s) has been received and verified.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. For returns, you must carefully package the product and you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Skagit Coin reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any return that does not comply with these requirements.
We want our customers to be pleased with their purchases. If for any reason you have a problem, please feel free to call our offices and discuss it with us. We will always do our best to accommodate you. Skagit Coin reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of $50 or 10% of the total order price (whichever is greater) on all refunded orders. We may charge a $50 processing fee on all exchanges. If a refund is requested, we reserve the right to find an acceptable replacement or refund your money if an acceptable replacement is not available. Refunds, at our discretion, may be issued via Skagit Coin store credit redeemable for future purchases in lieu of a cash refund.
On returning bullion related items, the customer may (at Skagit Coin's discretion) be required to pay for any market loss on their returns. Any market gain on refunds shall remain the property of Skagit Coin.
Pricing Errors - In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to an error in pricing or product information, Skagit Coin shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item. If an item is incorrectly priced, we will either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
Additional Terms - Additional terms relating to certain products (such as prices, methods of payment, our policies with respect to returns, refunds, and cancellations and/or exchanges) may be posted on the site on the pages describing the products.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PACKAGE?
Skagit Coin generally packages and ships your order the following way (applies to domestic orders only):
Credit Card and PayPal Orders - Ship within 1 business day following the date of confirmed payment.
All Personal Check Orders - Ship after a 4-business day holding period to verify funds. Additional holding days may be added if your bank delays confirmation of your check payment. Due to an increase in fraudulent activity, we no longer view bank/certified/cashier’s checks to be “as good as cash”. They are now also held for verification of funds.
All these timelines exclude weekends and holidays.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SHIP MY ORDER?
Once your payment has cleared, we will begin packaging and shipping your order. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation that includes the tracking number. This information can also be found on your account page.
MY ORDER WAS DELIVERED BUT IS INCOMPLETE OR I HAVE SOME OTHER ISSUE WITH MY ORDER.
If your order was delivered with no signs of being tampered with, but appears to be incomplete or missing product, please contact us within two (2) days of receipt.
Please note that notification of issues for tampered packages must be made within two (2) business days and any return requests must be submitted within two (2) days from receipt.
MY PACKAGE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN DAMAGED OR TAMPERED WITH. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We recommend you refuse any shipment that appears to be damaged or tampered with as the shipping insurance ends once signed for and/or delivered. When refused, the package(s) will return to Skagit Coin for inspection. If you have taken possession of a damaged or tampered package, please save all packaging and contact Skagit Coin at (360) 707-2222 within 48 hours for further instructions. Failure to notify us of damage or tampering within 48 hours from signature or delivery date may impact our ability to cover your claim.
